We have a core staff of 10 and a HSE nurse, supported by staff from Community Employment and Rural Social Schemes. We also have approximately 50 volunteers who work on a rota basis to assist in providing the services. All our staff, volunteers and CE participants are garda vetted.
Opening hours: Day Care Centre: 9 a.m - 4.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday
Childcare Facility: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Friday
Meals on Wheels: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday to Friday
Funding:
We receive part funding from the HSE for our older people's services and from Tusla and Department of Children for our childcare services but we must raise the balance through fundraising, donations and service charges. Similar to many other organisations, fundraising is becoming increasingly more difficult. Anyone who comes on board to fundraise on our behalf or wishes to make a donation (see make a donation tab) would be more than welcome.
