Funding We Receive
We receive part funding from the HSE for our older people’s services and from Tusla and Department of Children for our childcare services. Our pre-school also operates the ECCE and NCS programmes.
We also receive support from Mercy Sisters, National Lottery, Go 4 Life, Galway Sports Partnership / Sport Ireland, Galway County Council and GRETB, but we must raise the balance through fundraising, donations and service charges. Similar to many other organisations, fundraising is becoming increasingly more difficult.
Anyone who comes on board to fundraise on our behalf or wishes to make a donation (see make a donation tab) would be more than welcome.
We are a Company Limited by Guarantee (Company Reg No 170451). We are on the journey to signing up to the Charities Regulator Governance Code.
Ballinasloe Social Services is signed up to the ICTR Fundraising Guidelines.
