On Friday, 29th August, members of Ballinasloe Gardai and Ballinasloe Fire Station took part in a leg wax in Hayden’s Hotel, Ballinasloe to raise money for Ballinasloe Gardai Ciarán O’Raighne and Anthony Pender and Sgt Tom Horkan who are cycling from Mizen to Malin on 8th – 12th September in aid of various charities, including Ballinasloe Social Services.
The MC was iRadio’s DJ Fergal D’Arcy and there was an auction and spot prizes on the night. Great fun (and a lot of pain!) was had by all.
